While hormones are an important part of the puzzle for midlife women, they are not the only part….
We firmly believe that the key to thriving - not just in midlife and menopause, but long beyond - lies in helping women to exercise, sleep, have a healthy mind, and fuel their bodies with good nutrition.
The women’s health partners who work with us at the Black Barn all offer treatments or therapies that are proven to be of benefit to women during the menopause, and during mid- to later-life. These range from strength-bearing exercise, yoga, and pilates to talking therapies such as counselling & psychotherapy, to mindfulness meditation, breathwork and CBT-i for sleep.
We also offer regular one-off events, courses and classes that help women to be better informed about their health, to learn a new skill, or sometimes just to relax and recharge! All held at our beautiful barn wellness space here in West Sussex - between Chichester & Petworth.
