Rhianydd trained at St.George’s Medical School in London, and became an NHS GP in 2013. Having developed a special interest in women’s health, she completed further training with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health, where she received an Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care.

Rhianydd is a GP at the Langley House Surgery in Chichester, where she lives with her husband and young family. She offers consultations with patients at Black Barn.

Sian trained at Cambrige University and St Mary’s Medical School, Imperial College. She is an experienced GP of more than 20 years experience and has a special interest in women’s health. She is a member of the British Menopause Society and is a recognised menopause specialist, holding the Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care. She is also a trainer with the British Menopause Society.

Sian also has a special interest in migraine, having spent some time working for the National Migraine Centre, and also in diabetes - leading on diabetes management for many years in a large practice and running a primary care diabetes clinic in London. She enjoys all facets of preventative health care and chronic disease management. She was a partner in an NHS GP surgery for 20 years and is also a GP trainer, appraiser and senior appraiser.

Sian lives in South London with her husband and 3 teenage children. She offers consultations virtually and in person at Black Barn.

Rachel worked as a Sexual Health Consultant in Leeds for almost 10 years, before moving to the South Coast in 2013. Since then she has worked as an Associate Specialist in Integrated Sexual Health / HIV at the Rowlands Road Clinic in Worthing, and is an FSRH accredited contraceptive implant and IUD / IUS inserter. She developed a special interest in menopause after witnessing a significant increase in the numbers of women needing advice and struggling, not only with the most common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, but also with the profound loss of confidence and relationship difficulties it can bring. She is a member of The British Menopause Society and holds the Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care.

‘Since being diagnosed with an early menopause myself, the first thing I now pack when going on holiday are my oestrogen patches! I relish the opportunity that Clinic51 provides for us to share expertise as a team, and to help women struggling with menopause at what is often already a challenging time of life’. Rachel lives in East Preston with her husband, who is a local GP, her four children and two whippets. She is able to see patients remotely via video appointment.

Sam has over 20 years experience as an NHS doctor with a special interest in Women’s Health and Menopause care. She is a member of The British Menopause Society and holds the Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care. She is also a trainer with the British Menopause Society.

Sam previously worked as a GP Partner and Mental Health Lead at a large practice for many years. She runs an NHS menopause clinic and is also an NHS locum GP and GP appraiser.

‘I am passionate about providing holistic menopause care and believe that every woman should continue being the best version of themselves through the challenges of midlife. I have a special interest in mental health and how this can be affected in the perimenopausal years’.

Sam lives in Cheam with her husband and two teenage children, and her very loved Labradoodle, Ozzy. She provides appointments both virtually and in person at Black Barn.

Jo trained at St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College London and graduated in 1999 with Honours in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Surgery. Since qualifying, she has enjoyed all aspects of medicine and holistic care and went on to specialise in General Practice, gaining a distinction for the Membership of the Royal College of GPs (MRCGP). She is a recognised British Menopause Society specialist, and holds the Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care. She also has an interest in lifestyle medicine.

Jo has worked as a GP in Winchester for over 20 years, appraises GPs and teaches and examines medical students studying at The University of Southampton. She has always had an interest in women’s health and gained the Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and in Family Planning (DFFP).

Jo is a busy working mum with three sons. She relaxes by walking her noisy miniature dachshund, Lola, exercising and socialising with friends. Jo provides appointments both virtually, and at Black Barn.

Lucy trained in the midlands at Warwick Medical School and has worked as a GP here in West Sussex since 2017.

During this time she has developed a love of Lifestyle Medicine, preventative medicine and women's health. She completed her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2014 (DRCOG) and has built on this framework with the latest British Menopause Society Accreditation, in addition to completing the Royal College of General Practitioners accredited qualification in Lifestyle Medicine.

Outside of work Lucy is a keen runner, both informally and within the local organised running circuit. She also has a passion for art and whilst rarely finds the time to create much herself anymore, she enjoys visiting the latest exhibitions in the UK and across Europe when time permits. 

Lucy lives in West Sussex with her husband and two daughters. She will be offering women consultations in person at Black Barn.

Leah gained her medical degree from Nottingham University Medical school, before carrying out her training in London and for a period in Australia. She worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in the NHS in North East London, where she established a community menopause service, before a recent move to West Sussex.

She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Menopause Society and is a registered menopause specialist. She has an interest in birth trauma, having completed additional training in this area along with training in cognitive behavioural therapy for menopause.

Leah is also holds advanced yoga teacher qualifications, specialising in women’s health. Her training and experience to date, very much shapes the holistic care she offers and strongly informs her practice.
